One mantra.
Two readings. An open inquiry.

We are building a research atlas of 20,000 Samhita mantras: tracing syllables, roots and grammatical relationships before constructing possible meanings and comparing them with traditional witnesses.

How we research · our approach and its limits

Begin with the components

Examine sounds, accent, metre, rishi and devata context. Save the root, morpheme and word research. A later call composes the mantra meaning using those earlier findings.

Explore possible referents

Investigate cosmic principles and physical processes, alongside astronomy, astrology, geography, psychology and theology. Preserve grammar and show the evidence, uncertainty and tests for each proposal.

Compare independent readings

Prepare a traditional reading from an applicable Yaska witness, or Sayana fallback, separately from the new interpretation. Then compare the frozen readings and preserve previous versions.

Rohit's sound-operation framework is a research hypothesis. Syllables are not automatically roots; proposed connections are not proof of modern science. T = text/grammar observation, R = Rohit's framework, C = model interpretation. Model-generated work awaits scholarly review.
